Unable to run the 'vastool configure selinux' command without SeLinux devel tools installed
The SeLinux development package is required on the server before you can run the SeLinux policy configuration command.
For example on Redhat 7 the following package is required:
selinux-policy-devel
However some servers do not allow the Development tools to be installed. -
Ursache
The SeLinux Development package is a requirement in order to be able to run the 'vastool configure selinux' command. -
Lösung
WORKAROUND:
None.
The SeLinux Development package must be installed.
STATUS:
Enhancement request 798361 has been submitted to Development for consideration in a future release of Authentication Services.
798361 - Provide the SeLinux configuration functionality without a dependency on the SeLinux Dev package. -
