Active Roles custom policies objects were not imported post upgrade except the built-in policies.
When checking the "ImportConfiguration-timestamp.log" the following error is seen.
"Error: Violation of UNIQUE KEY constraint 'UQ_APOs_distinguishedName'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'dbo.APOs'. The duplicate key value is (CN=Built-in Policy - Default E-mail Alias,CN=Builtin,CN=Administration,CN=Policies,CN=Configuration).
The statement has been terminated."
A corrupted table in the source database.
Due to the product design, the import will fail if the target database already has the DN of any object trying to be imported. During the import process, we skip over any object with a known GUID because that object will already exist in the new "blank" database (those get pre-filled when Active Roles is configured).
WORKAROUND1
1 - Make a full backup of the source database and restore it to the server with a different name (this new copy will be modified and used as the source for the import);
2 - Using the log as a reference, with the error where it's failing, delete the entry from the source table;
a - Here is a sample of SQL query to delete the record in the DB (DELETE FROM [ActiveRoles750_Backup].[dbo].[APOs] WHERE objectGUID='0215E72D-A475-42B1-A9C2-B4AC06B364AF')
3 - Re-run the import and check if failed. If it does, check the log and find the referenced entry and delete that from the source table and try again;
4 - Repeat those steps until it imports without issue;
