Resolving Duplicate Name Error When Importing Nested Access Templates in Active Roles (4377606)

Importing an Access Template with Nested templates results in a "duplicate object name" error because the import attempts to recreate the nested templates which already exist.

Error: Administrative Policy returned an error.
The specified object name is already in use. Specify a new one, and then try again.

WORKAROUND

1. Before importing the Access Template open it in Notepad or equivalent. 

2. Locate and modify the following tag values by adding 1 at end of each nested Access Templates found such as this example:

<addRequest dn="CN=<NAMEOFNESTEDACCESSTEMPLATE1>,CN=Access Templates,CN=Configuration">

<attr name="edsvaXMLPolicyCheckReport"><value></value></attr><attr name="name"><value><NAMEOFNESTEDACCESSTEMPLATE1</value>

3. Save the changes

4. Import the main Access Template. 

NOTE: The main Access Template will still point to the original nested templates automatically with the original names, so the newly created Access Templates (with modified names such as NAMEOFNESTEDACCESSTEMPLATE1) can be manually deleted after successful import.
