Desktop Login only allows users to logon with their Sam account name their User Principal Name (UPN) login does not work. The Defender Security Logs show "Radius response: Authentication Rejected (No matching user found) User Name: user@yourdomain.com" -
Resolución
The setting to control the user login format is on the "General" tab on the relevant Access Node in AD. The default User ID setting is "SAM Account Name"
If both login formats are required, a second access node with User ID set to User Principal name should be created. This access node should be created with all the same details as the original node (IP address/subnet, Port, Shared Secret, Members, etc) with only the name and User ID settings being different.
