Running the following command on SuSe Linux version 11 produces an error:
insserv /etc/init.d/vasd

Error Message:
insserv: Service syslog is missed in the runlevels 4 to use service vasd
Resolución

WORKAROUND:
Edit the /etc/init.d/vasd file

Change the Default-Start line from:
Default-Start: 2 3 4 5
To:
Default-Start: 2 3 5

STATUS:
Waiting for a fix in a future release of Authentication Services.
