Descripción
When setting the encoding() option within a file source in Syslog-ng PE to EBCDIC-US (or EBCDICUS) the following error appears during a syntax check:
"unknown encoding EBCDIC-US" -
Causa
A defect has been found within Syslog-ng PE where the EBCDIC-US encoding is not supported. -
Resolución
There is currently no resolution or workaround for this at the moment.
Please continue to monitor release notes for future versions to know when this issue has been resolved. -
