Running pmpreflight.sh on Linux and entering Server as the install type the script will report that SELinux is enabled on the on the system when it is set to permissive. This is noted as a failure by the script. -
Causa
SELinux is enabled, albeit enabled in permissive mode. -
Resolución
You can safely ignore the "SELinux is enabled on this host" message which is seen when running the preflight for server installs if SELinux is enabled in permissive mode. It will not affect the install as while SELinux is enabled in permissive mode.
There has also been a defect ID raised to change the wording on this from a failure to a warning: #0006554
