Open MMC and select a user
Right click user and view its properties - this caused a 2001 Policy Violation Event to be thrown by the embedded AzureUser policy
Whenever user properties are examined, the 2001 violation event is thrown.
When users are modified, at least 2 violation events are thrown
When users are created, at least 6 violation events are thrown -
Causa
The Event (Event ID 2001) in Event Viewer is for informational purpose. It states that Azure related policies are failing to execute because Azure Tenant and Azure Application is not configured.The event can safely be ignored if the customer is not using ARS to manage Azure objectsIf customer is managing Azure objects using ARS. Post configuration of Azure Tenant and Azure Application through ARS Web Interface will solve the problem and the policy violation information will not be displayed anymore. -
Resolución
ARS 7.1.2 release is mainly focused for customers who want to manage Azure objects from Active Roles.
