To query the size of all logspaces, run the following command.
du -shL /opt/ssb/var/logspace/name/*
To query the size and details of one or more of the logspaces, run the following command replacing the logspace name, year, month, and/or day, with the relevant information specific to the Syslog-ng Store Box in which the logspace is located.
du -h /opt/ssb/var/logspace/name/[LOGSPACE_NAME]/${YEAR}/${MONTH}-${DAY}
To query the size and details of the year of the logspace, run the following command replacing the logspace name, and year, with the relevant information specific to the Syslog-ng Store Box in which the logspace is located.
du -h /opt/ssb/var/logspace/name/[LOGSPACE_NAME]/${YEAR}/
To query the size and details of the logspace in its entirety, run the following command replacing the logspace name with the relevant information specific to the Syslog-ng Store Box in which the logspace is located.
du -h /opt/ssb/var/logspace/name/[LOGSPACE_NAME]/
Optional: the following can be added to the end of any of the above commands to sort from largest to smallest in terms of the amount of disk space used
| sort -hr
An example of how this would look can be found below:
du -h /opt/ssb/var/logspace/name/[LOGSPACE_NAME]/ | sort -hr
