When using a JavaScript button on the Active Roles Web Interface home page, the button does not work as expected, and further editing of the home page results in the following error being displayed, rendering the Web Interface Configuration unusable:
An error occurred during the last operation.Error: Property accessor 'TaskOnclickJS' on object 'ActiveRoles.Web.Application.Controls.TaskBoxList.TaskItemPresenter' threw the following exception:'Object reference not set to an instance of an object.'

Causa
This issue has been identified as a product defect and assigned the Defect ID #311021; #421288.
