HOW TO: Export a List of Active Directory objects in the Active Roles Console (4350147)

In Active Directory Users and Computers (ADUC), it is possible to use the Export List command to generate a list of objects inside an Organizational Unit or Container by simply right-clicking on it. This will generate a tab or comma delimited text file (among other formats) with the list and some details on the child objects of said object.

Can this also be done in the Active Roles Console?

Yes, this command is available. By design, the Export List option is only available to users in the Active Roles Console when the Advanced Details Pane is disabled in the View menu.

In the Active Roles Console, disable the Advanced Details Pane in the View menu. Now, when right-clicking objects, the Export List command will be available as an option.
