Error when compiling the database: "The database is new or was restored from a different database." (4209274)

When starting an Identity Manager front end tool such as Designer, an error is displayed indicating that the database needs to be compiled. When running the database compiler, another error message is displayed:

"The database is new or was restored from a different database.

Read the user manual for all required steps after a restore.

For correct functionality you have to generate a new database ID.

Do you want to create a new database ID now?"

Reset the DataOrigin value and allow Identity Manager to create a new, valid ID.

1. On all  database nodes, run this SQL query to see what the current state of the DataOrigin value is:
   select DataOrigin, UID_Database from DialogDatabase
2. On all nodes, run this statement to reset the DataOrigin value:
   update DialogDatabase set DataOrigin=0
3. Run the compiler from the installation directory. Run the DB Compiler program directly rather than running it
   from somewhere else (like Designer).
   C:\Program Files\One Identity\One Identity Manager\DBCompiler.exe
4. When the DBCompiler asks whether it should create a new Database ID, select "OK".
