How to create new IdentityType and assign to multiple Employees -

By default, One Identity Manager (1IM) makes the 'Manager' field (Tab 'Organizational') mandatory when choosing Identity 'Service' for an Employee object in the Manager tool. The intention is that there is always a responsible Employee for identities of type Service (even if they are deactivated).
What are the required steps to create an additional IdentityType and assign it to multiple (inactive) Employee objects at the same time? -

1. Create a new IdentityType in Designer; for example 'Archived SvcAccount':
- Click on 'One Identity Manager Schema'
- Find the table 'Person' ...
- and the column 'IdentityType'
- Click on the button showing three dots at the end of the line 'List of permitted values'
- Create a new IdentityType
- Save and ...
- Commit to database
2. Then assign the new IdentityType to the objects concerned in the Manager tool:- List Inactive employees
- Call filter function
- Set filter to Identity = Service
- Select all objects returned by the filter.
- Edit all selected objects
- Assign and save the newly created IdentityType for all objects

Employee objects are stored in the Person table and may sometimes be referred to as "Person" objects.
