Check Data Consistency Error: "Index name not following naming conventions" (4339272)

Open check data consistency within Designer and select only warning. Expand DatabaseModel, then expand NamingConventions and place a check mark beside the option Index name not following naming conventions.

After running the test, the results complete with the following error:

"Index name not following naming conventions"

The error screen will provide the table along with the name of the index that is causing the issue.

1. Within SQL Management studio navigate to the database in question
2. Expand the database
3. Expand tables and navigate to the table listed in the error
4. Expand the table in question
5. Expand Indexes
6. Locate the index presented in the error
7. Right click on the index and choose the Rename option
8. Input a name that corresponds to the naming conventions
