The vastool status command shows FAILURE: 623 File </var/opt/quest/vgp/extensions> is 0-bytes, not all policies will apply -
Causa
CAUSE 1: The /var/opt/quest/vgp/extensions file has been removed.. This is usually seen when the /var/opt/quest directory is deleted prior to rejoining to Active Directory.
CAUSE 2: Extension has been unregistered.
CAUSE 3: Corrupted file.

RESOLUTION 1:
1 - /opt/quest/bin/vgptool unapply
2 - /opt/quest/bin/vgptool apply
RESOLUTION 2:
1 - /opt/quest/bin/vgptool register
2 - If one extension is not register you can use the /opt/quest/bin/vgptool register to register it.For example: /opt/quest/vgptool register vgp_sudoextAlso useful is doing a ls -l /var/opt/quest/vgp and checking date on the extensions file to see if it was changed when the issue began.RESOLUTION 3:Uninstall the QAS client and reinstall.Please note: we recommend you back up the /etc/opt/quest/vas directory before uninstalling.RESOLUTION 4:Try copying over the extensions file /var/opt/quest/vgp/extensions from another system running the same version of our product and changing the permissions to be correct.
