The error “the processing of Group Policy failed. Windows attempted to read the file \\domain\sysvol\domain\Policies\GPO\gpt.inifrom a domain controller and was not successful.” is displayed when running the GPUpdate /force command on a computer.
The event viewer systemlog may show Event ID 1058 with the same wording as the message in the command prompt.

Causa
This issue is not caused by Privilege Manager.
Privilege Manager may experience issues if Group Policy fails to load.

Check the Domain Controller Event Viewer logs to troubleshoot further. It may contain entries related to replication failing or DNS issues.
