The Syslog-ng Agent for Windows installation fails with the following error:
There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor.

Causa
.NET 3.5 or 4.0 is missing from the host in which the agent is being installed on. -
Risoluzione
Ensure Microsoft .Net Framework version 3.5 or 4.0 is installed before proceeding with installing the Syslog-ng Agent for Windows.
.Net 3.5 and 4.0 are the only supported versions and the agent will not work on any other version.
