After reboot, vasypd is not serving map information until it is restarted -
Causa
ypserv and vasyp were both installed. vasypd starts up, registers for NIS. Then ypserv starts up, registers for NIS, breaking our register. Then on restart of vasypd it re-registers, and it begins to work again. -
Risoluzione
RESOLUTION:
1 - Disable ypserv
chkconfig ypserv off
2 - Reboot
RESOLUTION 2:
1 - Remove the ypserv package
