When we FTP or SCP into SSB, it puts us in the Boot os and we need the files in the Core to be able to install them. How do we FTP/SCP into the Core?
How to transfer file to and from the Core firmware.
Copying files and installing third party agents on the SSB, and modifying its firmware is not allowed unless advised to by a support engineer. It will render the appliance unsupported.
On some occasions support will ask you to do the following:
- The core shell is mounted under /mnt/firmware in the boot shell
- Files can be uploaded to the core shell adding /mnt/firmare. For example: To upload archive.db to /opt/ssb/var/sql/ in the core shell, /mnt/firmare/opt/ssb/var/sql/ path should used.
