Running Polkit also known as Policykit with Authentication Services installed returns errors such as the following:

You can resolve this issue by setting the following in /etc/nscd.conf and restarting the nscd daemon:enable-cache passwd yesenable-cache group yesYou will see comments in the file regarding the change to these settings that were made by Authentication Services when the system was joined to the domain. In older versions of Authentication Services it was recommended to set these to no and so it is a part of the join process. You can safely set these to yes in 4.x to resolve the issue.
