What is this .parent_pause_processing file from and what does it do?

Risoluzione
The file /var/opt/quest/vas/vasd/.parent_pause_processing is automatically created during a flush to tell the vasd process to hold off on some activities until after the flush is complete.
This file will be removed automatically when the flush is done. If the file isn't being automatically cleaned up that could indicate vasd failing during a flush and a support case should be opened to investigate.
