Error: "[810206] The value 'Operating system version' must not contain line breaks" -
Description
In a synchronization report the following error message appears:
"[810306] Error during execution of 'CheckValues' in logic module 'VI.DB.Entities.ValueFormatEntityLogic'.
[810206] The value 'Operating system version' must not contain line breaks." -
Cause
In Active Directory (AD) there is a line break at the end of the line but nothing on the next line (for a particular attribute). Identity Manager does not allow these line breaks. This is not considered a defect, as the AD tools also do not allow this. -
Resolution
Open the schema editor in Designer and change the "OperatingSystemVersion" column of the ADSMachine table to allow multiline values:
Select the "Multiline" option then commit the change.
