Change Asset Properties Even When Connection Check Fails -

Requesting enhancement to change Asset properties, particularly for Active Directory assets, even when Safeguard cannot connect to the asset. Currently, it is necessary for the functional account credentials to be valid, and for Safeguard to be able to connect to the Asset, in order to update the settings. This can be limiting in certain troubleshooting situations. -

STATUS
An enhancement request has been submitted to Product Management. It will be considered for possible inclusion in a future release of the product. No ETA is available at this time.
WORKAROUND
It will be necessary to ensure that the Asset or Directory has valid credentials and that Safeguard can make a successful connection. -
