An issue with the appliance build process was discovered that removed the default SSH key prior to shipment. This SSH key check would only need to be done for new customers that haven’t migrated from 2.4.804 appliances. 2.5 appliances that were migrated from 2.4.804 would have the SSH keys that come across as part of the migration process and would not need to have a SSH key created.

To verify if this problem affects your appliance: 1. Log into the /admin interface as parmaster or sys-admin equivalent account. · Select Keys · Manage SSH Keys · If no keys are listed click the Add Key.
2. Follow the steps outlined under Manage SSH Keys found in Chapter 15 of the TPAM System Administrator Guide.
