4. The resulting log file named ActiveRoles.SyncService.CaptureAgentService.txt is located in the Capture Agent installation folder.
How to enable logging for the CaptureAgentPasswordFilter.dll:
2. Locate a DWORD (32-bit) value named EnableLog. If it does not exist, create it.
3. Flip the value to 1.
4. Restart the domain controller for the changes to take effect.
5. The resulting log file is named ca.log and can be found in the Capture Agent installation folder.
Log file size:
The log grows in size quickly. Therefore, it is recommended to enabe logging right before and disable logging immediately after the issue has been reproduced.
The file captures any activity being performed by the service, including the tasks performed by connected users while debug logging is enabled.
