설명
In the Management Console for Unix (MCU), when trying to run a profile command an error is received: "Could not configure service account because no policy server was found. Configure the policy server, reprofile the host and try again. However the policy server has been configured. -
원인
Product Defect: 28607 - the code in mcu is parsing the output of `/opt/quest/sbin/pmresolvehost | grep 'Resolved Local Hostname' | sed 's/.* //'` command. If shortname is not set the words we are looking for in the command output do not exist. The output is different depending on the pm.settings specified. -
해결 방안
WORKAROUND:
1 - On the host machine, edit the /etc/opt/quest/pm.settings and specify the following setting:
shortnames yes
2 - Then reprofile the host
In MCU, select the host then click the Profile button
