Receive "Error 5: Access Denied" when starting job service -
설명
The Identity Manager service account is a member of Domain Users and is not a member of the local administrators group on the system where the job service is installed. When a service start is attempted the message "Error 5: Access is denied" is displayed. -
원인
The service account does not have read permissions on the installation directory, C:\Program Files\One Identity Manager\One Identity Manager, or specifically, on the job service configuration file, JobService.cfg. -
해결 방안
Please refer to the Installation guide for the required permissions for the service account.
Specifically, the user account must belong to the group “Domain Users” and be configured with the extended user permission “Log on as a service”.
Confirm on the installation directory that the service account has the required permissions.
