One of the appliances in your SPP Cluster has failed, and an RMA replacement has been delivered. Follow the instructions below to setup the new appliance and enroll into your existing Cluster.
해결 방안
Please follow the instructions in the Appliance Setup Guide to perform the initial network configuration of the new appliance.
Verify the version that the new appliance is running. If the version is lower than the current version of your other Cluster Members, you will need to upgrade the new appliance, prior to enrolling it in the Cluster.
NOTE: It is recommended to always match the version of the Desktop Client you are using with the version of the Appliance. You can download the setup file for the Desktop Client by logging into the web interface of the Appliance. You can also use this URL: https://IPofSafeguard/safeguard.msi. If you have a newer Client version installed, you will need to uninstall it first, then install the older version.
If the new appliance is running an SPP 2.X version, you will need to first apply the "Safeguard for Privileged Passwords 2.11.2 Upgrade Pre-Requisite" patch to upgrade it to 2.11. Then apply the "One Identity Safeguard for Privileged Passwords 6.0 LTS Physical Appliance Patch". Once upgraded to 6.0, Safeguard can be upgraded to the latest LTS or Feature release.
Once the initial setup has been completed, enroll the new appliance into your Cluster as a Replica. Wait for it to synchronize the data from the other appliances. The length of time required will depend on the amount of data and the speed of the connection between the Cluster Members.
