RESOLUTION
In Password Manager 5.15 and later:
- Open the IIS Manager and navigate to the problem site
- Open the Configuration Editor feature
- Navigate to appSettings and click on the ellipsis (...) next to Count=XX
- Set the WorkflowService to https://0.0.0.0:20002
- Close the appSettings window and click Apply to apply the change
- Visit the site via localhost (e.g. https://localhost/PMSelfService) and reinitialize the site by providing the IP Address and Port of the internal Password Manager host.
In versions prior to Password Manager 5.15:
To reinitialize the Password Manager Self-Service site - PMSelfService
- On the Password Manager Stand-Alone Server or DMZ Server
- Navigate to C:\Program Files\One Identity\Password Manager\Web\SelfService\App_Data
- Backup WcfConnectionSettings.xml and then delete the original
- Do not delete WcfConnectionSettings.default
- Launch the Self-Service site and the “PMUser/Initialization” page will appear in the browser window.
To reinitialize the Password Manager Helpdesk site - PMHelpDesk
- On the Password Manager Stand-Alone Server or DMZ Server
- Navigate to C:\Program Files\One Identity\Password Manager\Web\Helpdesk\App_Data
- Backup WcfConnectionSettings.xml and then delete the original
- Do not delete WcfConnectionSettings.default
- Launch the Helpdesk site and the “PMHelpdesk/Initialization” page will appear in the browser window.
