When running vastool attrs the attribute returned encoded.
# vastool -u administrator attrs redhat$ data
data: cmVsZWFzZUFyZWEgC -
원인
If the attribute in Active Directory is binary as opposed to text it will automatically be encoded into base 64. This occurs on both vastool attrs and vastool search.

해결 방안
Pipe the data through base64 -d on Linux, or programmically decoded using Perl (decode_base64) or php (base64_decode)
