Run the command
/opt/quest/bin/vastool schema list
The output will be similar to this
The Authentication Services installation is operating in “Version 3 compatibility mode” and that the Unix account information such as UID, GID etc are stored in the “altSecurityIdentities” attribute for each user object.
The vastool status message is simply stating this.
This is not an “ERROR” message but an “INFO” message and can be safely ignored.
This message was first introduced in Authentication Services 4.1.0.21650 and would not have been seen in previous versions.
