LDAP error received in the syslog regarding nismaps:
mapupdate[3993]: mapcache_update: search failed on filter: (&(objectCategory=vintela-nisMap)(uSNChanged>=154525)), vas error = VAS_ERR_
NOT_FOUND: End of LDAP results for filter: "(&(objectCategory=vintela-nisMap)(uSNChanged>=154525))" -
원인
CAUSE 1: Cache needs to be updated.CAUSE 2: The LDAP query is just checking to see if the nismaps have been updated. It does this by checking if the uSNChanged attribute is greater to or equal than a #. If the uSNChanged was not changed, it does not need to reread the nismaps. -
해결 방안
RESOLUTION 1:Please run the following command to try and update the mapcache:/opt/quest/sbin/vasypd -xRESOLUTION 2:There is no problem with this diagnostic message. This message is just information telling you that the nis maps did not change.
