Starting from version 7.0.1 LTS, syslog-ng Store Box (SSB) supports the SSB 4000 appliance. However, the usual upgrade path to the newest feature version is supported only if the feature version to which you want to upgrade also supports the SSB 4000 appliance. Because of this, for example, you cannot upgrade from version 7.0.1 LTS to version 7.2 FR. -

Feature Release 7.2 was released prior to 7.0.1 with SSB 4000 appliance support. -
해결 방안
At the time of this writing, September 21st, 2023 there isn't a feature release with SSB 4000 appliance support.
The current feature release is version 7.2. When the next feature release is available for download check the release notes for support information.
