From the TPAM console- Logon on to the /tpam interface
- Select Management | Network Tools | TelnetTest
- Enter the server's network address, and port, then click "Test"
or
- Logon onto the :8443/config interface
- Select Management | Network Tools | TelnetTest
- Enter the servers network address, and port, then click "Test"
A message such as "Telnet connection test to x.x.x.x on portnum completed in 0.2304688 seconds" means it has connected.
From a DPA
From 2.5.912 and above Net Tools has been added to the DPA menu
- Log on to the DPA through the conole of SSH
- Select 9 "Net Tools
- Select 4 "Telnet Test"
- Enter the IP address
- Enter the port
- Enter a timeout
A message such as "Succesfully connected to x.x.x.x on x" means it has connected.
