Safeguard for Sudo has the following three packages:
These packages are mutually exclusive, that is, you can only install one of these packages on a host at any given time.

To upgrade the server package

Change to the directory containing the qpm-server package for your specific platform. For example, on a 64-bit Red Hat Linux system, run: # cd server/linux-x86_64

Run the platform-specific installer. For example, run: # rpm --upgrade qpm-server-*.rpm 
  
    
To upgrade the Sudo Plugin package

Change to the directory containing the qpm-plugin package for your specific platform. For example, on a 64-bit Red Hat Linux 5 system, run: # cd agent/linux-x86_64

Run the platform-specific installer. For example, run: # rpm --upgrade qpm-plugin*.rpm 
  
    
Where a direct upgrade is not possible, you must first remove the previously installed package, and install and configure Safeguard for Sudo as a new product installation.
