'Vastool info toconf' does not respect the 'site-only-servers' configuration setting.When running the 'vastool info toconf' command, servers from outside the site are selected even if the 'site-only-servers' option is set in vas.conf.E.g from vas.conf:[libvas]site-only-servers = trueThe 'vastool info toconf' messages will contain a line similar to:Discovered out-of-site server mydc01.example.com in domain example.comNotice the 'out-of-site server' part. -
Cause
The 'vastool info toconf' command does not currently respect the 'site-only-servers' option in vas.conf. -
Resolution
WORKAROUND:Manually remove the out of site servers from the output.STATUS:Issue # 673358 was addressed in version 4.1.6; from the 4.1.6 Release Notes 'Resolved Issue' section: "Honor site-only-servers for vastool info toconf." -
