Web site components

The Security Analytics Engine Administration web site consists of the following components allowing you to navigate and use the Security Analytics Engine Administration web site.

Heading bar

The heading bar, at the top of each page, displays the account and general information about the Security Analytics Engine.

One Identity

Click the One Identity logo to return to the Home page of the Security Analytics Engine Administration web site.

NOTE: If the following two items are not automatically displayed, click the button in the upper right corner.

<Username>

Click <Username> and select Log Out to disconnect from the Security Analytics Engine Administration web site. The Fallback account also has a New Log In option available to make it easier to switch between user accounts.

If the session has timed out or you are no longer logged in to the Security Analytics Engine, the New Log In option is replaced with a Log In option. From the drop-down menu, select Log In to access the general login page or Fallback Log In to access the Fallback login page.

About

Click to display the About Security Analytics Engine dialog which displays general release information about the Security Analytics Engine, copyright information, third-party components, legal notices and contact information.

Main web pages

The Security Analytics Engine Administration web site contains the following configuration and administration pages:

Page Description

Home

Contains descriptions and links for the main web pages available from the Security Analytics Engine.

Applications

Allows you to set up and manage the applications that use the Security Analytics Engine. This page is also used to create the risk policies for evaluating access attempts and alerting purposes.

Shared Policies

Allows you to create and manage shared risk policies for applications and alerts.

Conditions

Allows you to manage conditions for the plugins.

Plugins

Allows you to manage the plugin instances the Security Analytics Engine uses to perform condition checks and calculate risk scores.

Reports

Contains links to reports available from the Security Analytics Engine. The following pages are available from the Reports page:

  • Auditing - Allows you to view and download the auditing data the Security Analytics Engine collects.
  • Issued Alerts - Allows you to view the alerts the Security Analytics Engine has sent.

Policy Overrides

Allows you to create and manage policy overrides.

Fallback Password

Allows you to manage the fallback password.

IMPORTANT: The Fallback Password page is only available when the Security Analytics Engine is used for managing the fallback password. When the Security Analytics Engine is not configured to manage the fallback password, as might be the case when the Security Analytics Engine is bundled with another product, this page is not available. Instead the fallback password should be managed within the other product.

Navigating the Administration web site

To navigate the main pages of the Security Analytics Engine Administration web site, use the links listed in the left pane or your browser’s navigation buttons. However, there is an exception to these two navigation methods. Using the links or your browser’s navigation buttons while within a wizard exits the wizard without saving changes. Only use the options available in each wizard in order to navigate between pages.
