Moving G Suite organizations

Child organizations can be moved within an organizational hierarchy. To move a child organization, assign a different parent organization to the child organization.

To move an organization

Select the G Suite | Organizations category.
Select the organization from the result list.
Select the Change master data task.
Select the Change parent organizational unit task.
Confirm the security prompt with Yes.
Select the new organization from the Parent organization menu.
Save the changes.

Deleting G Suite organizations

To delete an organization

In the Manager, select G Suite | Organizations.
Select the organization from the result list.
Click .
Confirm the security prompt with Yes.

The organization is permanently deleted from the One Identity Manager database and from G Suite.

G Suite domains

Mapping of G Suite objects in One Identity Manager > G Suite domains

In G Suite, the primary domain of a customer and additional Internet domains are mapped as One Identity Manager domains. Domains are imported into the One Identity Manager database during synchronization. You cannot edit their properties. Changes to the object properties of individual domains can be transferred by single object synchronization.

To display the properties of a domain:

In the Manager, select the G Suite | Domains category.
Select the domain in the result list.
Select the Change master data task.

To obtain an overview of a domain

In the Manager, select the G Suite | Domains category.
Select the domain in the result list.
Select the G Suite domain overview task.

Domain aliases provide the users of a primary domain with additional email addresses. Domain aliases are imported into the One Identity Manager database during synchronization. You cannot edit their properties. Changes to the object properties of individual domain privileges can be transferred by single object synchronization.

To display the properties of a domain alias

In the Manager, select the G Suite | Domain aliases category.
Select a domain alias in the result list.
Select the Change master data task.

To obtain an overview of a domain alias

In the Manager, select the G Suite | Domain aliases category.
Select a domain alias in the result list.
Select the G Suite domain alias overview task.
