Allow A2A traffic during a failover of the Primary role in SPP cluster (4379580)

When performing a failover of the Primary role in the SPP cluster, A2A traffic will be interrupted during the maintenance status of the SPP nodes

In a failover event, the cluster goes into a Maintenance Mode for a considerable time.  The cluster provides A2A services for applications and this results in a period in which A2A traffic was not served by SPP. 

Is there a workaround or fix to allow A2A traffic to continue working during a failover process?

STATUS:

Enhancement Request # 494332 was submitted for consideration in a future version of SPP subject to successful QA and Product Management approval.
