To edit an asset class

Select the Devices & Workdesks | Basic configuration data | Asset classes category.
Select the asset class in the result list. Select the Change master data task.

Click in the result list.
Edit the asset class's master data.
Save the changes.

Enter the following data for an asset class.

Asset types

Enter asset types for asset data about a device.

To edit an asset type

Select the Devices & Workdesks | Basic configuration data | Asset types category.
Select an asset type in the result list. Select the Change master data task.

Click in the result list.
Enter the name of the asset type and a description for additional explanation.
Save the changes.

Entering investments and investment plans

Enter the data for investments and investment plans and assign then to devices.

To edit an investment

Select the Devices & Workdesks | Investments category.
Select an investment in the result list. Select the Change master data task.

Click in the result list.
