Display statistics

To assess information about distinct topic areas, group statistics by topic.

To display statistics

  1. In the menu bar, click Statistics.

    This open the Statistics page.

  2. In the navigation, click on the grouping to display the corresponding statistics.

    TIP: Shared statistics are statistics that are intended to be emphasized and displayed to all Web Portal users.

  3. (Optional) To show more information about the displayed data (legend, bar details, and so on), hover over the corresponding part of a statistic.

  4. (Optional) To show the description of a statistic, hover over the statistic's title.

  5. (Optional) To display details of a statistic, click the statistic.

Displaying statistics history

Display the history to evaluate the development of statistics values over time.

To display the history of a statistic

  1. In the menu bar, click Statistics.

  2. On the Statistics page, in the navigation, click a grouping to display the associated statistics.

  3. Click the statistic whose history you want to display.

  4. In the View Statistic Details side panel, click the History tab.

Displaying heatmaps

In the Web Portal, heatmaps represent objects in colored rectangles. Heatmaps help you to see at a glance particularly prominent values within a large amount of data.

The rectangle colors correspond to a selectable, linked-in data value, and range from red to green, where red stands for a value tending to require more attention. For example, red indicates a lot of compliance rule violations or identities with high risk indexes. Yellow represents an average, which might also mean there have been no changes to this object since the last analysis. Heatmaps not only provide a clear overview of the current data, but also offer allow you to compare current data with previous data.

To display heatmap statistics

  1. In the menu bar, click Statistics.

  2. On the Statistics page, in the navigation, click a grouping to display the associated statistics.

  3. Click the statistic you want to display.

    TIP: You can recognize heatmap statistics by the colored rectangles on the corresponding statistic tile.

  4. (Optional) To display the size of the rectangles relative to the size of the corresponding objects in the Show details of statistics side pane, select the Dynamic size check box.

  5. (Optional) To display details of an object, click the object.

  6. (Optional) To display data from a specific point in time, select the point in time in the Show differences since drop-down.

Displaying statistics source data

You can display the source data associated with certain statistics.

To display the source data of a statistic

  1. In the menu bar, click Statistics.

  2. On the Statistics page, in the navigation, click a grouping to display the associated statistics.

  3. Click the statistic whose source data you want to display.

  4. In the View Statistic Details side panel, click View source data.
