When trying to perform a search within the IT Shop website, the following error is displayed:
"One or more errors occurred"
"The search index is currently not available"
To install the Application Server:
1. On a server with IIS, start the Identity Manager 7.1 Autorun
a. From the 7.1 download folder, run "autorun.exe"
To update the Identity Manager website to use the new Application Server:
1. Browse to the installation folder of the IT Shop website.
a. By default, this is: "C:\inetpub\wwwroot\IdentityManager\bin"
2. Launch the "WebDesigner.ConfigFileEditor.exe" tool
a. A prompt will appear to select the web.config from the parent "IdentityManager" folder
b. A prompt will appear to authenticate to the database
Browse to the IT Shop Website and try to search again. If everything went well, search results should now appear.
