An Employee requests a service item via the web portal and selects a valid until date in the future and the shopping cart is submitted. The same Employee requests the same service item again, but this time does not supply a valid until date.
The request without the valid until date is approved first and set to assigned for the Employee in the PersonWantsOrg table. The request with the valid until date set is also approved and shows as pending. The valid until date is reached and the first request is aborted and the second request is now assigned.
The Employee still shows as having the service item assigned, but the product is removed from the Employee. For example, the product is a group membership - the group will not show up for the ADSAccount as assigned.
This will be fixed in a future release of Identity Manager. If affected by this issue please contact Support and request a hot fix for defect number 30697.
