After migrating the Identity Manager database to a new location, what are all of the places where the connection string may need to be updated? -
Resolution
The steps to move a database to a new SQL server are similar to the steps required to create a development environment from a database back-up.
After following those steps, check to ensure that the value in DialogDatabase has been correctly updated.
Most jobs use the database connection string found in the Job Service Configurator. This should be updated on every job server that is in use.
All synchronizations have a database connection, which will need to be updated for each synchronization.
