viFilesDetectW.exe crashes when started remotely through VI_INV_HARDWARE_MEASURE SOFTWAREINVENTORY (ON DEMAND)
Cause

This is a known bug designated #21156.
viFilesDetectW.exe incorrectly follows loops created by links present in home directory in Windows Vista and higher. This happens only for remote invocation via WMI.
