Unable to search by TAGs in IT Shop -
Description
TAGs have been created and assigned to specific groups (Service items), but when searching using the TAG keyword nothing is found. -
Cause
'VI_ITShop_AccProduct_Tags' is not enabled for the web project. -
Resolution
The "Search" field for Product requests allows searching by product or tag name:
To edit the configuration parameters for a web project, using Web Designer, go to the "Edit" menu and select Configure project | Web project...
Expand the IT Shop node and scroll down to "Service items tags enabled":
If the parameter is set to "False", the parameter will have the "Customized" flag set and a Value (custom) of "False":
To set the value to "True", just clear the "Customized" check box (by clicking the X) and answer "Yes" when prompted. The parameter will then be enabled:
Save the changes and Compile the web project.
STATUS
This issue has been resolved in version 8.1.5. Issue ID 33518. -
Additional Information
A manual reindex from the Web Page of the Application Server may be required for the change to take effect. Defect 33518 has been logged for this issue. Fix is not yet implemented in version 8.1.4. Hence, the hotfix for #33518 is applicable to version 8.1.4.
