Removal of Basic Authentication for Exchange Online -
Description
Microsoft will disable Basic Authentication for Exchange Online for all tenants October 1st, 2022, the use of this method by Identity Manager will fail with an HTTP 401 error.

Cause
Microsoft is deprecating Basic Authentication in Exchange Online beginning on October 1, 2022. The official notification is available here. -
Resolution
If you are using Identity Manager version 8.1.3, 8.1.5 or 8.2.x or later, you will not be affected and no is hotfix required.
If you are using version 8.1.2 you will be impacted – hotfix 32403 is available. Please contact Support and reference CR 32403.
If you are using version 8.1.4 or 8.0.5 you will be impacted – hotfix 33433 is available. Please contact Support and reference CR 33433.
Identity Manager versions 6.x, 7.x, 8.0.0 to 8.0.4, 8.1.0 and 8.1.1 are no longer supported and no hotfix is available. These versions can no longer be used for synchronization with Exchange Online. -
