When creating or editing an Attestation policy in new API Server, the following error is thrown in the webserver log:
"VI.Base.ViException: Table QAMCATEGORY not found"
This is only observed on the new web portal (angular) that was released with version 8.2.
There exist two attestation parameter objects in the AttestationWizardParm table that refer to non-existing tables (QAMCategory, QAMClassification):
QAM-BB54A41D781C486482210E61A11C65BC
QAM-CD8C563E3D6A4C45A255B188B5640B08
They may be leftovers from QCS and must be removed from the DGE master database.
WORKAROUND
Resolve the error by updating the Identity Manager (1IM) DataBase with the following steps:
- Open SQL Server Management Studio
- Backup the 1IM database.
- After the database is backed up, execute the following query on the 1IM database:
delete from AttestationWizardParm where UID_AttestationWizardParm ='QAM-BB54A41D781C486482210E61A11C65BC' or UID_AttestationWizardParm ='QAM-CD8C563E3D6A4C45A255B188B5640B08'
