The connection parameters have been edited in the synchronization editor and on test of the connection the following error message appears:
"[810143] Database error 18456: Login failed for user ..." -
Cause
One possible cause might be the use of $ in the password. This might be stored as $$ in the database.

WORKAROUND
Correct the connection string in Object Browser.
STATUS
This will be fixed in a future release of the product. If you require this immediately corrected, please contact Support for a hotfix referencing the defect ID 25766. -
