Error: “The value's length for key 'password' exceeds it's limit of '128'." (4331098)

The following message appears when the password for the database is not made available to the synchronization editor:

[1777223] DistributionConnector: Error connecting the system.

                    at VI.Projector.Connection.SystemConnection.ConnectIfRequired()

                    at VI.Projector.Connection.Connectors.DistributionConnector.Connect(ISystemConnectionParameterCollection connectionParameter)

This is a product defect (28006)

WORKAROUND:

Provide password.

STATUS:

This will be fixed on a future release of the product. If you require this immediately corrected, please contact support for a hotfix referencing the defect ID 28006. The hotfix will provide a more user friendly message.
